Out of the Woods documents the lives and practices of 26 woodworkers along the Salish Sea in British Columbia. Their stories are told through a collection of environmental portraits in black and white and colour, personal biographies, and images of their work. Flowing organically from one profile to the next, the book captures the essence of each artist and their diverse approaches to woodworking while building a visual narrative of the wild and untamed west coast.
