Nose Hill Environment Park

Calgary’s Nose Hill Park is a unique urban park that covers approximately 1,129 hectares of land, including rare native fescue grassland. Increased use has created habitat fragmentation and loss. A series of interpretive signs and trail markers encourages visitors to protect this fragile resource by staying on designated trails.

Within The City of Calgary signage guidelines, we created a multi-level signage and trail marker system that blends in to the grassland environment. Themes address human and geological history, wildlife habitat and the challenges of increased park use.
