Little Resilience: The Ryerson Poetry Chap-Books

This book design sensitively draws from the poetry chap-book style, incorporating classical and delicate serif fonts, letterspacing, graphics and ornaments. The ornament used as a line break throughout highlights the early beginnings of the Ryerson Press and its links to the church. The overall design hints at this particular era of publishing and honours the craft of writing. The cover features a wallpaper design by William Morris.
