Helmcken House Exhibit
The Royal BC Museum contracted Lime Design to redesign the exhibits for Helmcken House and St. Ann’s Schoolhouse. John Sebastian Helmcken came to Vancouver Island in 1850. He was a prominent physician, founding president of the BC Medical Association, and helped bring British Columbia into the Canadian Confederation. His house, located in downtown Victoria, is a historic site right in proximity to the St. Ann’s Schoolhouse. St. Ann’s school was the original building with later expanded to the St. Ann’s Academy which is a five minute walk from the site. We created a brand and all graphic panels and interactive elements for both buildings.
