Amber Valley and Willow Grove

Released in conjunction with Black History month, these stamps acknowledged the two historic settlements of Amber Valley, Alberta and Willow Grove, New Brunswick. The stamps, booklet, and Official First Day Cover drew from original reference material and featured illustrations of actual sites and community members. Through these interpretations, we explored the unique challenges of Black immigrants and refugees, who came to Canada and persevered, paving a way for their descendants and adding to the cultural fabric of the country.
