Salt, Sword, and Crozier
Bruce Peel Special Collections, University of Alberta
Taking its tall, vertical shape from the dimensions of the cover image, Salt, Sword, and Crozier offers a clear and orderly documentation of books and coins from the Prince-Bishopric of Salzburg from c.1500–c.1800. The overall design is classic and understated, allowing the richness and flourish of the printed works, along with the particular symbols on each coin to hold centre stage.
