100 Years of Scouting
Canada Post
When Robert-Baden Powell, founder of the Scouting Movement, set up the first camp for boy scouts on Brownsea Island off the coast of England in 1907, he probably had no idea that 100 years later a 28 Million-member, world-wide scouting movement would celebrate its existence. This stamp commemorates Scouting in Canada, a vibrant community of more than 78,000 boys and girls embracing outdoor activities and learning life skills.
