A Painter's Year in the Forests of Bhutan   The University of Alberta Press

A.K. Hellum, a forestry professor at the University of Alberta, spent two years managing a research and
reforestation project in Bhutan. His documentation of plant life is paralleled by a collection of stories that
recall the situations he was in and the people he met while creating this body of work. The book is both
a visual and verbal memory of his personal journey as well as a reference for naturalists.
